A Woman Transforms an Average Mirror Into a Literal Waterfall and It’s Gorgeous

Mirrors are already a staple in most homes. They’re a great way to add color, light, and even the feeling of more space, even if you’re on a budget. Even better than that, however, is the fact that there are tons of ways to style them! From where you choose to place them, what you choose to surround them with, even different lighting effects, you can get a lot of life when you use mirrors in your decorating scheme.

So let’s go a little further. Today we have three words for you (well, we guess it’s really two and an acronym, but don’t judge)! DIY. Cascade. Mirror. Are you still addicted?

Today’s Totally Awesome DIY comes from Teepee (THouse2020 on Tiktok), and she blew us away with her hack to create the perfect statement piece for any room in your home or even outside in a garden!

Tee starts with a mirror, and for her it was easy. She just pulled the old door mirror out of her closet and used it (although she says you can buy or spare yours pretty easily.) Just want to make sure it’s waterproof on the back , which may require some sealing. Then you’ll need some kind of decorative “bucket” that can hold the water that falls and recycles to the top, a water pump, some extra stuff (which luckily she lists all of in the video), and some greenery to put around the finished product.

Put all the pieces together and the result is an absolutely stunning and super expensive water mirror. One that would literally cost thousands of dollars if you decided to buy it already made at a bigger store.
