New demo for ‘Mirror Forge’ available now

Not to be outdone by previous announcements at Realms Deep 2022, the next survival horror title recently acquired by DreadXP Mirror Forge has a new demo to check out. This new Mirror Forge The demo is the same one that was shown at both PAX West and Gamescom, so if you missed those events, here’s your chance. DreadXP also released a new trailer for Mirror Forge to Twitter, which you can see below.

Developed by MystiveDev, Mirror Forge centers on Thomas Jackson, a troubled man whose drunk driving two years ago resulted in his girlfriend Jill’s coma and the loss of their baby. Although Jill recovered, the ordeal destroyed their relationship. Aggravated by his job loss, Thomas tries to commit suicide. Although therapy and medication have helped, Thomas’ past returns once again, leading him to seek solace from Jill to try to reclaim what was lost.

However, Jill, a journalist, is nowhere to be found. His only clue: images from his latest report. Missing children, a place called Devil’s Womb Canyon, and a mysterious blue explosion.

In Mirror Forge, players must travel between alternate dimensions shrouded in darkness and home to supernatural creatures. Using mirrors to traverse these realms, players will encounter a variety of familiar and bizarre environments – from dark, cramped apartments to open cities, ancient houses and factories. And in keeping with survival horror tropes, in Mirror Forge, Thomas has no way to defend himself. As a result, he must evade the creatures while solving puzzles and piecing together the source of Jill’s disappearance and the otherworldly events that currently haunt him.

Mirror Forge should happen Q4 2022 on Steam.
